About us

Founders- Betsy Strafach and Kristin Glenn

We started with hope. Betsy and Kristin, two of the founders, provide grief companionship to families after the loss of a child of any age and cause. Our hope to help bereaved families led to the inception of 3Hopeful Hearts, a 501c3 non profit organization, with the mission to help bereaved families through events, support, education and remembrance. Here's more about us...

Betsy Strafach - Co-Founder- Executive Director

Betsy Strafach -is the executive director and co founder of 3Hopeful Hearts. She has been serving families who have experienced child loss, perinatal or infancy loss since 2005. Betsy also facilitates the 3Hopeful Hearts monthly perinatal loss support group for bereaved parents as well as provides grief companion support and community outreach to bereaved families in Larimer County. Betsy is Resolve Through Sharing and Youth Mental Health First Aid Certified as well as a Child Adolescent Death Response Team member. Betsy has been blessed to use her photography skills capturing memories when a child is stillborn or dies shortly after birth that may not otherwise be possible through her volunteer work with Now I Lay Me Down To Sleep (NILMDTS), a non-profit organization. These portraits become an important healing tool for families and can change the way they heal forever. She is honored to be the area coordinator and certified trainer for this organization.

Betsy also creates beautiful memorial montage videos for families to use at funerals, memorials and to have as cherished keepsakes. She created the very touching Grief Through Nature video shown at the annual Candlelight Tribute. Betsy Strafach is the mother of two incredible boys.
