If you have lost a pregnancy through a miscarriage it is normal to feel sad, helpless, lost and confused.

What was meant to be the beginning of new life becomes an ending to unmet hopes and dreams. Feelings of disbelief and anger, helplessness and guilt, depression and perhaps failure, are real and understandable. This drop in, no-charge group is for those impacted by the loss of a pregnancy less than 19 weeks. It is a place to share your story and gain compassionate support throughout your journey towards healing after your loss.

“Grief after pregnancy and neonatal loss is complicated by the fact that you know very little about who you are grieving. In many ways, you are grieving the loss of a dream for a child, the dream of being a parent to that child and the sense of control over your life. Like a tidal wave, the grief can overwhelm your body and spirit, touching on every aspect of your life. You cannot force yourself through grief nor to make it go away. Grief has to take its course.”

- Dr. Lina Kaplan

We invite you to join us in starting what we hope will become a healing journey with other parents facing a similar loss.
