Grief and Valentine's Day
This excerpt is from COPE Foundation- Healing Tip of the Month
"I read somewhere recently that in French “I miss you” is “Tu me manques,” which literally translates to “You are missing from me.” Assuming this translation is correct (and I have not let down my six years worth of French teachers), I think there is no truer way to express the love that remains after (your child) dies. Our love for them and the space left by the missing piece of us after their death takes the form of grief. This resonated with me especially as we near Valentine’s Day, a day dedicated to the love we have for those around us and those this year that we might find are missing from us."

Reach out to the important people in your life.
Reach out to those you struggle to love.
Reach out to strangers.
Reach out to yourself.
Reach out to your (your child).

The Tree of Hope helps us deepen our roots at the Center for Hope. We are so incredibly grateful that our mortgage is paid off but our monthly expenses still total $1,000.00 a month. Donations made through this event will help cover our expenses at the center.
Two options are available for the Tree of Hope:
Annual Heart-Leaves - $100
Can be personalized by your family to be placed on the Tree of Hope for one year before being presented back to your family.
Legacy Heart-Leaves - $750
Engraved plaque with your child’s name, dates, and/or a message will be a permanent leaf on our Tree of Hope. Families who donate will be invited to the Family Grief Expression Night to place their leaf and honor their child.
3HH is Seeking Board Members
Are you looking to gain experience on a Board with a growing, reputable non profit organization? Do you have a heart for giving of your gifts and talents, and desire to make a difference in the lives of grieving families? If so, this may be a perfect match! 3Hopeful Hearts Board of Directors is seeking a CPA or similarly qualified individual to serve as our Board Treasurer. This is a volunteer position and requires an interview with 2 of the current board members.
The Board of Directors meetings are held the 2nd Monday of each month from 5:30-7:30pm.

This is a group for those who are journeying through and to parenthood and are faced with the halt of infertility. In a world full of 'comfortable conversations', infertility, longing and grief are too often met with silence. This group is a safe space for you to connect, be heard, be seen and understood. You are not alone. The whisperings of 'me too' are echoed here. If this group applies to you, please join us on February 28th!
