Remembrance Rocks
Our Remembrance Rocks event was held January 30th here at the Center for Hope on Whalers Way, and shown are photos of the beautiful work created. It was an evening of reflection, bonding, and just sitting and thinking about our children. Thank you for all who attended and created a beautiful work of art honoring their child or children. Click the button below for the full gallery.
Volunteers Needed
Drivers needed - must be willing to drive in evenings and wait for support group to end. Some of our support group attendees need help driving at night to their groups. We need a few generous people to drive them back and forth so they can get the support they need! For more information, please contact michelle@3hopefulhearts.com
Volunteers needed to participate in health fairs and related events. This work involves helping set up, take down and possibly help greet visitors to the event.
We are flexible and would like to hear your level of interest. Please contact programs@3hopefulhearts.com for more information.
Thank You to Louisville Art Association
3Hopeful Hearts received an invitation from the Louisville Art Association for participation in a round-robin event for free art! These beautiful ladies inside and out donated their art to our nonprofit and it's hanging throughout the Center for Hope. Come browse this new office color or click below to see the images on our 3Hopeful Hearts photo gallery.
Our New Spotify Playlist
3Hopeful Hearts is now actively collecting your song choices for our new Spotify playlist. These songs can be songs that are made for grieving, songs that help you celebrate, or songs you run to when you are looking for healing. No editing at all will be used to select songs; everyone gets to participate! We have compiled a Google Form for adding song choices, but if for any reason you have trouble you can email your song choices directly to marketing@3hopefulhearts.com.
Form song submission: https://docs.google.com/forms/d/e/1FAIpQLSduKO_E-cwGBqeFtZRYGK0WXvZ9CE8CyF2f1cuZzy01Sm3lyg/viewform
We are working with Spotify to potentially turn this effort into a fundraiser but for the time being, our vision is that we would produce a playlist at least annually in the category of adult and youth/teen. Want to see the list so far? Click here
Corner for Planned Giving
Planned giving isn’t always about cash and conventional bank accounts. Stocks can be donated to qualified organizations like 3Hopeful Hearts. While we cannot give tax advice, some of the benefits of stock donation can include:
• Eliminating capital gains tax and the Medicare surtax which can be up to 28.3%
• Taking a tax deduction on the fair market value of the stocks if you can itemize
• Maximizing support to the charities you care about
Planned giving is appropriate for any age group. Ask your financial or tax professional about how you can benefit from legacy giving!
*as with any important financial decision consult a financial professional.
