November 2023 Newsletter

We are here for you! 3Hopeful Hearts provides grief-informed support to empower and equip those impacted by the death of a baby or child of any age, while increasing grief literacy in our larger community.

IT’S HARD TO FEEL THANKFUL WHEN YOU’RE GRIEVING
by REFUGE IN GRIEF

“Finding things that companion you, exactly where you are, can be a great way to practice the theme of Thanksgiving.⁣

Always remember that you can choose to ignore any holiday, no matter what anyone else says.⁣

If you’re trying to support someone you love through the holidays, remember that you can’t make their holiday good. Reminding them to be grateful for what still exists won’t help — in fact, it can make them feel worse. Instead, you might ask how they’re feeling today. Let them know you’re willing to support them no matter what they need to do to make it through.⁣”

From 3Hopeful Hearts: We are not grateful that so many families need our services but we are grateful that we can make even the smallest difference in the lives of those in our community. We are grateful that we can walk beside you on your grief journey and we hope you can find some comfort in knowing that we are here for you. We wish you all a gentle Thanksgiving.

Colorado Gives Day Starts November 1st!

When you donate to 3Hopeful Hearts for Colorado Gives Day, you are directly supporting your neighbors, coworkers, friends, and families that have been affected by the loss of a baby or child.

Any donations made through Colorado Gives 365 count towards the incentive program for Colorado Gives Day, which makes your dollar go further for 3Hopeful Hearts. This year our goal is to raise $32,000 by Colorado Gives Day on December 5th and the donation window is open now!

Because of your giving last year, we were able to host our inaugural Camp BraveHeart family camp to help families connect after a loss.
